The Quarry Genre is one of tails, ears… maybe a scale here or there. This genre tends to have animalistic appearances. This group tends to have a greater sense of hearing, smell, and sight. It isn’t uncommon for them to create groups where they look out for each other. The sense of community tends to be strong with this group.
Appearance
The appearance of the Quarry genre leans into animalistic. Wolf ears, fox tails, scales scattered along the skin, and so many other things. Those in this genre still tend to favor more normal human heights though there are always exceptions to the rules. Quarry appearances can range from just some ears and a tail to a more full blend of animal and human. There are no full animals in Rumor so all those in the Quarry genre have some human appearance in them.
Why would someone become a Quarry?
There are those humans that always seem to be more connected to the nature side of themselves. This could present itself in that they were an animal person as in the type who would rather say hello to the dog being walked than the human walking the dog. It could be the human that would rather be out in the woods away from society and only wanted select people around them. No matter what it wasn’t about being alone, it was about being with the right people. Building a community of your own, with people that you trusted might have been a common thought when a Quarry was alive.
Conclusion
The Quarry consists of those who are connected with their natural side. They are community focused, looking out for their own. It isn’t unusual to see those in the Quarry genre to take on jobs like Bounty or Monster Hunters.
